Dr Dave Norcross BchD (Leeds), Master Clinician Implant Dentistry (gIDE/UCLA)
Dr Dave Norcross graduated from Leeds University, England, in 2006 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and soon began developing a strong interest in restorative and implant dentistry. After five years working in general practice in the UK, he relocated to Australia and, in 2011, became the principal dentist at EVP Dental, Kelmscott Dental and Mount Lawley Dental in Perth.
David has undertaken extensive postgraduate training, completing an Advanced Restorative Course at the North of England Dental Academy in 2009, followed by a year-long modular program in Implant Dentistry accredited by the British Academy of Implant Dentistry in 2010. In 2013, he achieved the Master Clinician in Implant Dentistry qualification through the Global Institute for Dental Education (gIDE) and UCLA. He has also completed clinical residencies at the renowned MALO Clinic in Melbourne and Portugal, focusing on advanced All-on-4® full mouth rehabilitation techniques.
With over a decade of experience placing dental implants, Dr Norcross now completes more than 500 implant procedures each year. His expertise was recognised in 2023 when his clinic was awarded All-on-4® Centre of Excellence status by Nobel Biocare, the founder of the All-on-4® concept. As a key opinion leader for Nobel Biocare, he mentors dentists across Australia, provides live surgery demonstrations, and delivers training programs. In 2024, he launched the Full-Arching Training Framework, designed to equip fellow clinicians with the skills to perform predictable, life-changing All-on-4® treatments.
In mid-2025, Dr Norcross joined the Applecross team as co-owner, bringing with him Perth Dental Implant Centre, where he continues to focus on advanced implant treatments and full-arch rehabilitation.
Dave’s advanced training, proven results, and patient-centred care have established him as one of Perth’s most trusted implant dentists.
Dr David O’Dowling BDS NUI (Hons), MSc Oral Implantology (Goethe) DICOI, DABOI/ID, FAAID
Dr O’Dowling graduated from University College Cork, Ireland, in 2006, where he received awards in both oral surgery and restorative dentistry. He has since worked in private practices across Ireland, Queensland and Perth, gaining wide experience in general dentistry while developing a strong focus on dental implants. In 2018, he completed a Master’s degree in Oral Implantology at Goethe Dental School in Frankfurt, further advancing his expertise in implant surgery and prosthetics.
Dr O’Dowling is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
He enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a special interest in helping patients restore their smiles with dental implants, from replacing single teeth to full arch treatments. Dr O’Dowling is passionate about using the latest digital technology and 3D printing to make treatments more precise, efficient and comfortable for patients.
In mid-2025, Dr O’Dowling joined Dr Norcross as co-owner at Epsom Dental Care in Applecross.
